HUD Contacts for Faith-Based and Community Organizations

The Center for Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships (The Partnership Center) in the Office of the Secretary, serves to ensure that Faith-Based and Community Organizations (FBCOs), which form the bedrock of our society, have strong advocates within Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the White House and Partnership Offices throughout the Federal Government.

 

Information for Faith-Based and Community Organizations

  • HUD Exchange - Program information, guidance, services, and tools to HUD's community partners, including state and local governments, nonprofit organizations, Continuums of Care (CoCs), Public Housing Authorities (PHAs), tribes, and partners of these organizations.
  • HUD’s International and Philanthropic Affairs Division (IPAD) - IPAD creates and strengthens partnerships and conducts research and policy analysis across borders and sectors to assist HUD program offices in achieving their goals.
  • HUD's programs - Information on HUD’s major mortgage, grant, assistance, and regulatory programs.
  • Grants.gov - Common website for federal agencies to post discretionary funding opportunities and for grantees to find and apply to them.
  • AmeriCorps - AmeriCorps connects individuals and organizations to help communities tackle their toughest challenges.
  • Volunteer.gov - Volunteer recruitment and management portal for people who are passionate about supporting causes managed by federal agencies.
  • Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Charities and Nonprofits - Tax information, tools, and resources for charities and other tax-exempt organizations.
  • Voluntary and Community-Based Organizations (FEMA) - FEMA Voluntary Agency Liaisons (VALs) establish, foster, and maintain relationships among government, voluntary, faith- and community-based, private sector, philanthropic, and whole community partners who help communities plan for, respond to, and recover from disasters.
